Our client, a forefront leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced  General Manager (Plant & Business Development) to join the ambitious team in Lithuania. The job is hybrid with 4 working days on site +  1 working day remote.

About the Role

The General Manager (Plant & Business Development) is pivotal in steering our manufacturing operations and business development to new heights. This role is designed for a visionary who is passionate about fostering sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and team leadership within a fast-paced environment as well as category /business development.

Your Responsibilities:

• Drive plant operations to ensure the achievement of production targets and quality standards.
• Lead business development initiatives, exploring new markets and opportunities for product category expansion.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and streamline business processes.
• Prepare and manage the plant budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum profitability.
• Navigate the competitive landscape, adapting strategies to maintain our market leader position.

• Proven experience in a general management role within the manufacturing sector.
• A strong leader with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and efficiency optimization.
• Strategic thinker with a solid track record of delivering growth and operational excellence.
• Working knowledge of business finance and performance metrics.
• Fluency in both Lithuanian, English and Russian (basics).
• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
