Our expectations for the candidate:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial control or accounting, preferably in a hedge fund or private equity environment.
• In-depth knowledge of hedge fund structures, private equity fund operations, and relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, and investors.
• Experience in managing audits and regulatory reporting.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions related to private equity investments, fund operations, and expenses.
• Monitor fund cash flow, capital calls, and distributions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the fund, investors, and management.
• Coordinate the preparation of annual balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against forecasts and budgets.
• Monitor and report on fund performance, portfolio company valuations, and investor capital allocations.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for quarterly board meetings, investor presentations, and fundraising efforts.

The salary range for this position starts at 3500 € (net) per month + bonus up to 25% annual salary upon results.
