The Opportunity

Our client – Robotex, an innovative industrial robotics and automation solutions company – is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize operations in Lithuania.

Robotex is part of SBA Group and partners with leading global robotics manufacturers to deliver custom automation solutions for the furniture, electronics, food, and broader manufacturing sectors. Each project is unique – designed from concept to commissioning by a team of engineers, programmers, and integrators. With creativity, speed, and a passion for innovation, Robotex is transforming how industries operate.

Main responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of automation and robotics projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Lead cross-functional teams across design, engineering, automation, and service departments
• Drive continuous improvement in operations, from supply chain efficiency to process optimization
• Represent operations in company management and board meetings, presenting key initiatives and results
• Set and monitor KPIs, implement performance tracking and motivational systems across teams
• Contribute to strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives of the company

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• Has a higher education degree in engineering, automation, robotics, or a related technical field
• Has at least 5 years of experience in operational or technical leadership within automation, robotics, or manufacturing sectors
• Is experienced in managing cross-disciplinary teams and complex technical projects
• Has working knowledge of project and task management tools (JIRA is a plus)
• Demonstrates strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align and mobilize teams
• Is fluent in English and Lithuanian, both written and spoken
• Has the ability to set clear KPIs and drive performance towards ambitious goals
• Is creative, hands-on, and passionate about building next-generation automation systems
