Hoptransa UAB is the operational center and strategic asset hub of the Hoptrans Group – the company where the Group’s logistics execution happens at scale. With over 1400 trucks and 2000 employees, Hoptransa ensures the reliability, efficiency, and performance of daily operations across Western Europe.
Hoptransa operates in a high-intensity, data-driven environment and is undergoing rapid transformation through automation, digitization, and performance optimization. The incoming CEO will lead company in this dynamic change while ensuring operational excellence every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Hoptransa UAB operations, ensuring efficiency, asset utilization, and high-performance execution in line with Group strategy.
- Manage a workforce of 2000 employees (including 70 administrative staff across 5 departments).
- Optimize the use and lifecycle of one of the largest truck fleets in the region.
- Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives with measurable financial impact.
- Collaborate closely with the Board and Group stakeholders to align on strategic and operational goals.
- Partner with Holding functions (IT, Legal, Finance, Procurement, HR) and other Group companies.
- Oversee core departments: Accounting & Payroll, HR & Driver Administration, Technical Services, Insurance & Claims, and Driver Training Center.
- Build, mentor, and hold accountable a team of functional leaders and operational managers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership as General Director/CEO/COO in a complex, asset-heavy and operationally intense environment
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience in a company with 500+ employees and EUR 50M+ turnover.
- Strong financial awareness and ability to act on KPIs related to cost efficiency, fleet performance, and workforce productivity.
- "Hands-on" leadership mindset – willing to dive into operational details while guiding the bigger picture.
- Comfortable working with shareholders and an involved Board in a high-performance setting.
- Excellent communication, team-building, and change management skills.
- Experience in multicultural organizations, with the ability to manage a diverse international workforce.
- Good command of Lithuanian, English and Russian languages
Compensation & Offer
- EUR 8,000 – 13,000 gross/month base salary.
