About the company

An established business group operating in the real estate development and related services sector is looking for a Chief Financial Officer / Head of Finance.

The group has been active in the Lithuanian market for over two decades and operates across several areas of the real estate value chain, including property development, advisory, and related services.

The role

The company is seeking a hands-on CFO / Head of Finance who will take ownership of business finance, financial planning and strategic financial analysis across the company.

The finance team currently consists primarily of accounting professionals responsible for full-cycle accounting and statutory reporting, so the CFO role is strongly focused on business finance, financial control, and decision support rather than day-to-day accounting.

You will work closely with company leadership, ensure financial stability, and provide analytical insights to support investment and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure alignment between accounting outputs and business finance needs

• Oversee group budgeting, financial planning and forecasting

• Prepare management reports and financial insights for leadership

• Manage cash flow forecasting and financial risk monitoring

• Maintain relationships with banks and manage financing structures

• Monitor financing covenants and financial discipline

• Support management in investment analysis and project financial evaluation

• Contribute to financial modelling and valuation of development or income-generating projects

• Improve financial processes, reporting and analytical tools

Our expectations for the right candidate

• Experience in a CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Manager, or Financial Controller role

• Strong background in business finance, financial planning, and financial analysis

• Ability to operate in a relatively small finance structure and take ownership of analytical work

• Experience in project-based industries (real estate, construction, infrastructure, investment projects, or similar) is an advantage

• Business-oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking

• Fluent in Lithuanian
